Rod Francis PCC is faculty head and co-creator of the Human Potential Coach training program, creator of the Emergent Coach training program and a founding member of InterActualizer. At a young age Rod began working with the body as a tool, training in several physical performance techniques including mime, dance, acting and circus. Entering a national academy of dance in his home country Australia led on to an extensive international performing, teaching and eventually choreographic career. Following a brief but successful interim entrepreneurial career, Rod transitioned into coaching, mentoring and human development almost two decades ago. He began a personal meditation practice almost 40 years ago, is a UMass Medical School qualified teacher of Jon Kabat-zinn’s 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, and has designed and leads the 8-week program for the Human Potential Institute and the 5-week level-2 program for InterActualizer. Alongside his work within both InterActualizer and HPI, Rod is actively speaking, writing, coaching and leading workshops and retreats across the globe working with the central themes of the advancement of human, organizational and social development and embodied leadership.
