Ready to Elevate Your Coaching?
For more details, download the guide or click here to explore the program further.
Developed by Prof. Eugene Gendlin, Focusing is a transformative conversational approach rooted in the insights from groundbreaking and award-winning research he conducted with Carl Rogers at Chicago University. In the largest outcomes study of its type, they set out to uncover why some clients changed and were successful in therapeutic conversations while others weren’t. The key insight? Success entirely depended on how clients connected with and related to their inner felt experience.
Focusing is the simple process-model that Gendlin developed out of these insights. Focusing-Oriented Therapy was developed as a facilitated conversational process for supporting therapeutic clients to change and heal through insight. The Emergent Coach Training is the first ICF-Accredited coaching program to formally integrate this approach into their curriculum as Focusing-Oriented Coaching (FOC).
The Focusing-Oriented Coaching module teaches you how to seamlessly employ a Focusing approach in your sessions. This fosters astonishingly profound insights to emerge naturally, and empowers both coach and client to be able to address the deeper core issues with ease, clarity and depth.
It's perfect for coaches who want to powerfully enhance their existing coaching skillset (particularly embodiment coaches!) and become an authentically effective catalyst for supporting greater creativity, deep growth and embodied change in their clients.

The Emergent Coach Training model rests upon the meta-competencies of Presence and Embodiment—essential qualities that require intentional mind (and heart) training to fully develop. Mindfulness training forms the foundational set of practices for cultivating these coaching "superpowers."
Mindfulness practice is not simply a contemporary strategy for gaining a little more calm, getting some better focus and attention or taking a break from your bullying inner voices; it is a transformative life path that fosters:
- Freedom from existential fears and uncertainty
- Access to greater clarity, insight, and embodied wisdom
- Enhanced coaching Presence and ability for emotional regulation
- A more intuitive and wise ability to manage the vast complexities of life.
While we may not describe ourselves as a mindfulness coaching or mindfulness-based coaching approach, it would still be fair to describe us as such. So too might be to call it a dharma-informed model.
Program Tracks with Mindfulness are:
- Emergent Level 1 Practitioner Package: Includes Mindfulness 1 (8-week program).
- Emergent Level 2 Professional Package: Includes Mindfulness 1 (8-week) + Mindfulness 2 (5-week program).
- Emergent Core Package: Choice of Mindfulness 1 (8-week) or Mindfulness 2 (5-week).
Note: Completion of Mindfulness 1 is required before taking Mindfulness 2.
All the mindfulness programs can be purchased individually without taking our coach training. They're also perfect for non-coaches.
For more details on the content (including schedules) on these, please download the guide from above or view the content by clicking here: LEVEL 1 LEVEL 2
We offer International Coaching Federation (ICF) Group Mentor Coaching packages. Ten hours of ICF Mentor Coaching is required for all coaches seeking to credential (or re-credential) with the ICF. It is now a requirement for all ICF-accredited, levelled programs to have integrated within their offer. Our ICF Group Mentor Coaching package offers a cost- effective way to meet this requirement.
ICF Mentor Coaching for an ICF credential (or re-credential for ACC-level coaches) consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process, which is generally based on observed in-session coaching (or a recorded coaching session), and is aimed at increasing the coach’s understanding and capability in coaching in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. It also significantly improves the coaches ability to pass the ICF Credentialing Exam.
ICF Mentor Coaching provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level.
What you get:
As required by the ICF, our ICF Group Mentor Coaching package consists of
- 7, hour long group classes of no more than 10 participants
- Three one-on-one sessions with a highly qualified PCC-level mentor coach.
- The ICF also requires that the program runs for a minimum of 3 months.
Please go here to learn more or simply click here to register. To learn more about the requirements for ICf Mentor Coaching, please go here.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or freshly minted, one of the biggest hurdles all coaches face is in building a thriving and sustainable business.. There are so many areas to cover for an individual that it simply seems overwhelming. Financial management, web development, social media, marketing, podcasting, digital advertising, SEO and so much more tug us in too many directions.
Equally, the coaching industry is packed with providers wanting to sell high cost business programs and services often with tantalizing promises of big earnings and a fast track to success. Unfortunately industry statistics simply don’t support such lofty claims. But this doesn’t mean having a thriving and sustainable successful coaching business isn’t possible, simply that a) success needs to be grounded in realism and b) that one doesn’t need to pay huge sums of money to get there.
We launched Thrive initially to support our participants to be fully equipped to run a business and have ongoing support once they certified, though we also saw how many other coaches were struggling with this area— both novices and seasoned pros—so we decided to launch it as an open offer. Anyone can join us.
All participants in our Level 1, 2 or Core Tracks automatically receive it in the program package plus an initial 12 months subscription to the Thrive live sessions.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
- All the dedicated content in the learning platform: ebooks, guides, quizzes, resources, films and so much more all to help you understand crucial areas such as:
- the legal & financial nuts and bolts of establishing & running a coaching business.
- how to identify and develop your niche.
- how to expand your services.
- how to set up websites, social accounts, podcasts etc.
- marketing & advertising basics.
- working with 3rd party coaching providers.
- tons of business resources including business plans
- and so much more!
- A dedicated community page for sharing and support.
- 12 months of bimonthly live sessions with faculty and other industry experts to connect, develop and deepen your learning and have accountability and support to achieve your business goals.
Initial purchase of the program gives lifetime access to the content and 12 months access to the live sessions and community page. Following that there will be a reasonable annual subscription fee for continued access to the live Zoom sessions and business development community.

FAQs
If you're a complete novice to coaching or need to upgrade/update your skills then you need to take the Essentials program before taking any of the other modules. The best route to certification is to take one of our packages.
In order to take our Core program or the Pathways or Focusing modules individually you will need to have training as a coach in the core competencies. Non-ICF trained coaches can take any of these options, however if you're seeking an ICF Level 2 certification and credential please contact us to ensure your best route.
We will honor partial completion units from other accredited programs to support coaches to gain certification and credentialing. Please email us so we can assess your best way forward.
We do accept partial credit from other accredited organizations and programs, and we may accept credit from other trainings as well. Below are the main conditions however we may require additional training before joining our certification tracks.
- To join the Emergent Core or Level 2 Professional program: If you have completed a Level 1 (ICF ACC standard or similar) program at another organization and/or already hold a similar credential, we will apply your completed credit hours to your program. You must provide documentation of your program completion, including the organization, number of hours completed, completion certificate, and contact information for the organization or trainer. You may be asked for additional details or documentation on an as-needed basis.
- To join an Level 1 Practitioner Track we may accept partial credits from other training providers however we will generally require that you take the entire program. If we do accept credits from your accredited training, we will require all of the above and will evaluate the program standards to make an assessment.
Please contact us on learning@interactualizer.com for more information so we can assess how we might best support your continuing coaching learning journey.
Participants can miss a maximum of 1 class per course (e.g. 1 for Essentials including 1 session only of a workshop, 1 for Pathways; 1 for Focusing etc.) and if they do, must submit a missed call form within two weeks of the missed class. Forms and instructions on how to submit are shared with you once you’ve registered and paid for your tuition.
Classes missed beyond this limit (1/module) will mean we cannot issue certification. That said, we understand that sometimes life throws us curve balls and we will work with you to create solutions if they do. Generally these options will incur additional fees. We may issue a certificate of partial completion upon request.
Yes, most of our modules (Essentials, Pathways, Focusing, Empowerment, Mindfulness 1 or 2, Mentor Coaching, Embodiment in Coaching Workshop) can be purchased individually. Integration cannot be and is only included within our full Level 1 or Level 2 tracks. If you need further information then please reach out to us.
This will vary depending on the module. Pathways and Focusing will require approximately 5-6 hours per week including the learning platform, classes, Buddy Group and associated practice and reading. Essentials and Integration are more intensive due to the weekend workshops and one should allow 5-6 on regular weeks and appropriately more during the workshop weekends.
Please bear in mind that this is a professional training program and you will need to make sure you allow sufficient room in your life to make the best of the learning.
The Level 1 ACC program takes approximately 14-16 weeks. It is an intensive training and grounds you in the core coaching skills. The Level 2 PCC program usually takes around 12 months though this can vary slightly depending upon when you commence.
As 500 hours of client coaching are required to credential as a PCC, the longer time is usually helpful and many of our Level 2 participants choose to certify at Level 1 first and then credential as an ACC first as that requires only 100 hours. Having their ACC means they are fully qualified as they accrue their PCC hours and can work professionally as they do so.
If you withdraw from the Emergent Coach Training program, the following conditions will decide whether you are entitled to a refund or not and what happens if you defer or make changes.
- If you apply for a refund 31+ days before the commencement date of any Emergent Coach Training course, a full refund will be provided (minus a $250 non-refundable registration fee and any financial transaction costs e.g. PayPal, card or bank transfer fees).
- If you apply less than 30 days of your Emergent Coach Training course commencement, there is no refund. As such, once the program has commenced there is also no refund. However, depending on the circumstances (eg. health or personal crisis), we may offer you credit towards completion with us at an agreed date in the near future. If program costs have increased when you take up such an offer, we may also require the additional balance to be paid. We will request a transfer fee.
- If you’ve purchased a full course package (eg Level 1 or 2 track) or multiple courses, the above conditions apply to the commencement date of your first elected course of the Emergent Coach Training program.
- If you defer and/or you do not complete certification of all your programs within 18 months from commencement date of your first program with us, additional fees will apply.
- All Mindfulness programs are non-refundable.
Once you have commenced a program track (Level 1 ACC/Level 2 PCC, Core) we generally require you to complete your training by taking the first available suitable program/s in your chosen track and complete in the shortest time possible. If you'd like or need to pace yourself differently then please do contact us so we can help advise you on the best route to certification and success possible for your situation.
- Your course fees for either Emergent Level 1 ACC or Level 2 PCC tracks will cover all the costs of tuition and include ICF Group Mentor Coaching, Fulfillment and Mindfulness.
- For the Core program, if you wish to certify on our Level 2 track (eg. going from an existing ACC to PCC) you must contact us before purchase to ensure it will satisfy all the requirements. We may require further training such as Mentor Coaching.
- For the Empowerment Retreat, travel, accommodation and food are not included in the tuition fees.
- If your certification recording does not pass, each re-submission currently costs $250.
- Make-up calls for missed classes are charged at minimum $195 per class depending on the duration required.
